TSU's听wireless network is available in many locations across the campus.听

Remember that the wireless network is a convenience. If you have a computer wired to the network at your desk, your wired connection will provide you with more reliability than a wireless connection to the campus network.

TSUWireless vs. TSU_Secure

You will notice two TSU wireless networks on your device.

TSUwireless is configured to only allow general browsing on the Internet (Google search, news sites, etc.).听

TSU_secure听 requires you to sign-in....and provides access to email, MyTSU, Banner, Facebook, etc.听

How to Configure Device (PC, phone, tablet) to Use TSU_Secure

To configure your computer or cell phone for access to "tsu_secure" wi-fi, follow these steps:

IF ON A PC听

Enter "wifi" into the SEARCH box on your PC (lower left of monitor)...and choose "WiFi settings".
Click "Manage known networks".

Search for "tsu_secure".

If it doesn't find it. click "Add a new network".

Enter these items for the options:

    1. Network name: type 鈥渢su_secure鈥�
    2. Security type: 鈥淲PA2-Enterprise AES鈥�
    3. EAP method:听 鈥淧rotected EAP (PEAP)鈥�
    4. Authentication method:听 鈥淪ecured password (EAP-MSCHAP v2)鈥�
    5. Click Select checkmark 鈥淐onnect even if this network is not broadcasting鈥�

Click the 鈥淪ave鈥� button.

Once you have completed the short configuration process above, you may be prompted for a username and password. This is your network (campus computer) username and password.听
